This is a revitalized sake from a brewery in Fukushima that has revived sake making after 20 years. It is a raw, once-heated, stored sake. It has a pear-like fruity mouthfeel and a solid sweet attack, followed by a dry bitterness in the latter half, but the umami settles in, so to speak, a mellow umikuchi sake. It has a gentle sweetness and deliciousness that is easy for beginners to enjoy. It is no wonder that it was awarded a prize at the New Brewers' Association in its first year of revival.
