I have been curious about Amami for a long time and finally had it. It has a slightly gaseous taste, a wonderful aroma of nama-shu, and a fruity-sweet taste. This is a sake that I should have bought as soon as I became interested in it. I am sure I will be a repeat customer. Next time, I want to buy it in a bottle.
Postscript
When I drank it two days after opening the bottle, the fruity flavor had lessened and it tasted a little crisp.
