Found and purchased during a trip to Ishikawa.
I was under the impression that most of the sake I saw in Hokuriku was dry, but the description on the sales floor said it was sweet!
Fruity ginjo aroma
Strong alcohol, acidity and rice flavor in the mouth.
Slightly sweet, but clearly more dry than the usual sake.
When I bought pickled ovaries of puffer fish together with it, I was worried that the sweet flavor would not go well with it.
The unique fermentation smell is beautifully sublimed by the strong sake flavor.
Yum!
