It is not the store where I usually buy it, but another place.
At the time, I remember how happy and excited I was to be able to buy a bottle of Shinsei sake (and still am).
I remember that the sourness that was typical of Shinsei was suppressed, and it was gentle on the palate, throat and nose. There was no alcohol smell at all!
The total balance seems to be very high.
The impact is weak, but I think this is a sake that some people may like.
I thought it would make a good aperitif! I think it would be very extravagant to have Shinsei as an aperitif, though.
From this time to the present, I've only seen it once.
