From the rice to the yeast, all of the sake is made in Gunma.
It has a light, grain-like aroma and a refreshing taste with the flavor of rice and a hard acidity.
I drank it chilled, but it might be better served warmed. Good when you want to enjoy food as the main course.
As it was Culture Day, we enjoyed this traditional sake with Negima-ni (stewed green onions).
