I meant to post this yesterday but fell asleep as usual. It still feels like summer, but I guess it's the change of season 🍁. When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was fruity and full-bodied. The standing aroma is similar to melon or watermelon. The mouthfeel is smooth and clean, as is typical of Gunma sake, with a mild sweetness that is typical of Maikaze. It is more acidic than other Maikaze series, and has a sweet and sour taste with a hint of lychee! If you focus on the fullness of the taste, it can also be banana-like. The crisp acidity lingers in the aftertaste, which is reminiscent of citrus fruits. The sweet fullness typical of "Katsuragawa" is well matched with the gentle sweetness of Maikaze! The "Akagisan" and other Maikaze series are still sleeping, but we can't wait to see what next year brings✨.
