On a business trip to Tohoku, I tried for the first time "Bakuren," another signature sake of Kudoi Ue Kamenoi Shuzo. Although it is touted as a super dry sake, this was a juicy dry sake, or rather, a very easy-drinking and quick-consuming sake, despite the fact that it has a strength equivalent to that of a pure sake.
Bakuren" means a "slipshod" woman. For some reason, Bakuren grabs crabs, and despite her strong appearance, she seems to be a surprisingly friendly person.
