In summer in Kansai, Fushimi's sake and hamo sukiyaki is ☝️.
Hamo is bought at a nearby fishmonger's and cooked in a pot with onions, mitsuba leaves, and sometimes somen noodles. Hamo is a special treat in summer.
Sake from the Higashiyama Sake Brewery in Fushimi. They use 100% Yamadanishiki. It has a very good balance with the water of Fushimi.
