It was very fresh and crisp, and at best, it was easy to drink. At best, it was easy to drink. At worst, there was not much shading between the beginning and end of the drink. However, the store offered to warm it up in stages, and I felt that the true value of this sake was demonstrated when it was heated. When it was heated up (about 45°C), it had a creamy, milky taste that spread to the palate, and the flavor stayed in the mouth until the end, finishing off nicely. As an amateur, I hadn't thought of warming nigori sake, so I was impressed by the range of changes.
