On the way to Naruko Onsen at the end of the year, we stopped by Kanmei Shuzo, known for Miyakanmei.
I bought it because it was a limited edition from the brewery.
It is fruity and sweet with a clean aftertaste and a slight bitterness.
I also bought a Junmai Ginjo, which is also a limited edition from the same brewery, so I am looking forward to comparing the two.
The store is located at the end of a narrow road along the bank of the river where only one car can pass.
The store next to it sold sweets made from sakekasu (sake lees) and other ingredients. The sake lees gelato was delicious.
