Single Origine Sake Sado Junmai Daiginjo Tenryohai Shuzo, Niigata Prefecture This sake is made by hand from water grown on Sado Island and a single variety of rice produced by a single farmer. I purchased this sake at the Tenryohai Sake Brewery booth at the Joetsu Kenshin Sake Festival in October. It is usually only available on Sado Island, so if you are told that it is only available on Sado Island, you have no choice but to buy it. It is a junmai daiginjo, although it is light and dry. The gentle taste made me swoon. Mmmm, delicious!
