I got a rumored Kido. It has been a while since I had a Daiginjo. Maybe that's why it is refreshing to drink. The taste is mild. It's rather sweet. It's not as sweet as the Kanyoukyou. It feels mellow. You can feel the sweetness. It is difficult to pair it with food because it is independent of alcohol. This time it was cold tofu, cucumber and wakame seaweed with vinegar. And sushi. And mozzarella cheese. The best match was probably the cold tofu. It doesn't interfere with alcohol. At my age, I've come to realize how delicious cold tofu is.
