SAMURAIZ
I didn't know they made Omachi in Toyama Prefecture, too.
I opened the bottle gently, paying attention to the warning that the cork would "pop violently," but it was only a whiff.
In the mouth, there is a moderate gassiness, but it is a pleasant feeling typical of Haneya.
It has the acidity and umami that is typical of Omachi, but also has the lightness and slightly sweet drinkability of Haneya, making it a delicious finish. It seems to go well with just about anything, and since it is delicious on its own, it is likely to run out quickly.
