The aroma of green apples is gentle on the nose. In the mouth, it has a slightly darker texture and stimulation that is typical of unpasteurized sake, with a tangy taste. The sweetness and acidity of green apples follow and spread. The finish is short, with a sharpness and a slight bitterness that is typical of five-hundred-million-dollar sake, and then fades away quickly. I had the impression that this is a smooth, easy-to-swallow foodie drink that goes well with both meat and fish.
