ぷぷToko's winter limited edition sake, apparently distributed only in Yamagata and Fukushima. The label with a discreet snow symbol and the austere Toko letters are also a nice touch. I am not a fan of cloudy sake, which is too sweet and tastes sluggish, but I was attracted by the limited edition, so I gave it a try.
When I drank it, it was indeed a mellow sweet sake. However, the fizzy and sharp taste will make you drink the next cup. It also goes well with strong flavored food. I think it is a good type to drink as soon as you open it. I bought it again as a New Year's greeting 😋.
