Purchased at a convenience store.
A 3-decibel bottle of Nishi-no-Seki, often found only at 7-Eleven in Kyushu.
It is recommended to drink it at room temperature or lightly chilled, so I lightly chilled it.
The aroma is rather mild.
The first sip, while fresh and generally sweet tasting, was initially tinged with sourness.
As the meal progresses, the initial stimulation disappears, and the palate is refreshing, with a good balance of acidity, umami, and sweetness.
We recommend drinking it as an aperitif or on its own. It also seems to go well with light food.
