Mineral, woody aroma to taste, with a bit of gourdiness, less mineral and milder than usual. It was well-balanced and delicious!
He missed Shinmasa after a long time. I used to drink it heated. We had an interesting conversation about how he had thought it had gone out of business since he hadn't seen it at the liquor store recently.
