Continuing from the last issue, we had a bottle of Yamamoto Pure Black from the Yamamoto Sake Brewery in Akita, Japan.
Pure Black is a surprisingly new brand launched by the 6th generation brewer in 2007.
It is a very sharp, slightly sparkling winter limited edition of No. 7! Dry? The moment you think it is, the juiciness that is typical of Yamamoto spreads out, leaving a lingering sweetness. It is said to be citrusy, and while there are hints of strawberry and green apple, the 🍊some bitterness of orange peel also contributes to this. The view is clear, not too complex like Italian perfumes. It's clean!
