Kangiku/True Red/Junmai Daiginjo/Origarami Nama-nama-shu (Omachi 50) 2023 4.5 Comparison of 2 types of Kangiku (1). This is the highest quality since "Nagi". The fizziness at the time of opening the bottle is described in the "Caution when uncorking" section. It is easy to drink with a perfect balance of moderate fizziness and acidity. I wondered if it was similar to the "Abe Green Label Oorigarami" we drank the day before. Abe is too gassy, for better or worse (laughs). The lingering rice flavor leaves a bit to be desired, but if you consider it as a food sake, I think it is the perfect balance. It goes well with anything in the Japanese, Western, and Chinese pairings. Easy to drink, with a subtle sense of control over the gassiness and acidity, just in time for the early summer when it is released. Sake beginners will especially like it. A temperature of minus 5 degrees Celsius is essential. This is exactly the kind of sake that goes well with French and Chinese cuisine. The price is 1,980 yen for a junmai daiginjo. I will buy it again next year.
