This sake is from Yokote City, Akita Prefecture.
When I go to Akita, I would like to drink it with Junsai and Hinai Chicken, natch.
It has a pungent taste that runs like a gin. It has a deep, slightly astringent taste.
The back palate has a glimpse of the rich sweetness that is typical of junmai. A wave of sharp spiciness covers the palate. The taste is pleasant as it fades and fades back.
