It seems that Toyo Bijin's Hakutsuru-Nishiki has been on sale since 2023.
I did not know that!
Hakutsuru-Nishiki is a rice developed by Hakutsuru Sake Brewery in 2007 with the concept of replacing Yamadanishiki.
As the name suggests, I felt a crisp impression reminiscent of white 😊.
This rice was exclusive to Hakutsuru Shuzo, but has spread since 2012 when it was supplied to Takagi Shuzo.
Hakutsuru Nishiki from Jyushiyo was also outstandingly delicious, but it is not available and drinkable these days.
