"Hi-lan?" is not to say that we don't know if it is "Hiran" or not, but ? (hatena) is the name of the sake. This is a project to have people enjoy a sake tasting quiz by keeping basic information private.
The aroma is mild and slightly citrusy. Hmm? Subtle, but is it white malted rice?
When you put it in your mouth, you can taste the sourness. You can taste sour apple, lychee, and a hint of plum. The sweetness is not big, but it is strong in the back. There is a brown rice-like flavor and a bitter taste like grapefruit peel. There's a bit of a hard shell to the flavor. It's not fluffy, but it's a bit stiff.
If I were to use a Ghibli analogy, it would be Satsuki in junior high school in "My Neighbor Totoro". She is energetic, bright, and firm, but a little more relaxed than when she was in elementary school.
