Following "Chie Bijin" in kanji and "Chiebijin" in hiragana, the first new product in five years is "CHIEBIJIN" in alphabet.
It sold out immediately at liquor stores and department stores in Oita City. We purchased it from a liquor store in Bungo Takada.
This junmai ginjo sake, which they say is brewed with white wine yeast, has a thick mouthfeel with a sweetness like biwa, contrary to its refreshing image.
There is some foam. The thick and heavy acidity resonates and together with the oily texture gives a strong aftertaste.
The recommendation is to use a wine glass, but it's more firm than refreshing, so an oinokuchi might be more suitable. When I heated it up, the grapefruit-like fruitiness came out and I had a surprisingly good impression.
