The Kenryo series is a favorite of mine. It's finally time to get my hands on some Junmai. I'm looking forward to the Mizuho!
The color is a quintessential amber. The aroma is sweet and gorgeous.
As soon as you put it in your mouth, you can tell it is a Kenryo. However, it is thick and you can feel the maturity. The sweetness, sourness and umami are well-balanced and spread fluently. It has a sharp yet mild aftertaste. If Kami-Sen Kenryo is a wild man's sake, then Mizuho is an intelligent man's sake.
It has a solid feeling that doesn't disappoint, yet it has a higher grade of taste, and the appeal of Kempei is its masculinity and sake that doesn't follow trends! It makes a great gift!
