It was on sale at a nearly 20% discount at Aeon and I immediately decided to buy it. When the bottle is opened, it has a sweet muscat aroma.
When you drink it, the sugary sweetness is short-lived, and then the umami, including bitterness, rises to the surface and finishes with a predominance of bitterness.
It is a little bitter, but not unpleasant because of the umami. Although it has been aged for some time, it is still a good sake. It is good with sweet sweet potatoes and fresh salads.
