I had bought a bottle of Shinmasa Ecru a long time ago, but it had been sitting in the fridge for a long time, thinking that I would open it on a special occasion.
But today, I received a gift of matsutake mushrooms from a friend, so I decided to make today a special day! So I opened the bottle!
Does the aroma of matsutake mushrooms go well with Shinmasa? Would ecru go well with matsutake mushrooms? I had my doubts, but it was no problem. It is an easy-drinking sake that is not too sweet and makes the most of the snacks!
