The aroma from the glass is subdued. As soon as you take a sip, you feel a light stimulation on the tip of your tongue, and the umami and light acidity spread across your entire mouth between your tongue and upper jaw. As you finish the bottle, the nose releases a sake-like aroma. As you take more sips, the taste of rice bursts in your mouth.
