The third new sake of this brewing year is my favorite Sengoku Modern!
I haven't had it for more than 3 weeks, so I feel like it's been a while since I had it.
The taste is citrusy and fruity, which is typical of Senkyu.
Modern is Yamada-Nishiki, and the taste is somewhere between a moderate classic and a strong retro.
The second year Edobari also has a deep, raw yeast flavor and has a sense of being perfected as a standard sake.
Since it is a new sake, it also has a fresh mouthfeel and is very easy to drink, making it the first sake that beginners to Sengoku should try.
I have high expectations for Sengoku this season!
