Dewa Sanshu is my favorite sake. I imagine it goes on without food.
The aroma is cool and refreshing, and it has a watermelon-like aroma. In the mouth, it is fresh and juicy. The flavors are well balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and mint-like freshness. The finish is elegantly bittersweet.
After some time, it takes off the corners and becomes more mellow and easy to drink. It becomes more fruity and some of the bitterness is eliminated.
