As the summer is drawing to a close (the heat is still on), I opened a bottle of "Katsuragawa" sake on the rocks, which I was looking forward to drinking again this year!
And the back of the bottle is falling apart due to condensation againð.
When we opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was sweet and fluffy, typical of "Katsuragawa". It is a bit sour and comes in through the nose as if it is cold on the rocks.
The mouthfeel has a pettiness by default, but on the rocks it is smooth and silky.
It has a fluffy aroma like sweet rice crackers and a syrupy sweetness of shaved ice. As the ice melts, it becomes lighter and more enjoyable âš.
The lingering finish has a slightly tangy, spicy acidity and a tropical fruitiness, and the smart finish keeps the saké going!
While listening to the chirping of autumn insects ð¶.
I think it's time to open a bottle of "Akagisan" summer sake!
