It has a slight aroma of lactic acid, and in the mouth it has a unique taste of sourness and strong sweetness, like a cross between Calpis soda and muddy sake. The aftertaste is a bit astringent, similar to the lingering taste of muddy sake, but it's not an unpleasant aftertaste.
