Koso-Shinko was the first sake brewing rice produced in Akita in 1959. It is related to Miyamanishiki in terms of pedigree, as it is descended from "Nobukou 190". However, the taste of "Miyamanishiki" gives the impression of being hard, while "Koso-Shinko" has a smooth and smooth taste.
