The second bottle in the drinking comparison is the same 2020BY Betsuatsurai Naokumi.
This one is recommended to be aged for 3 to 5 years.
The aroma has a berry-like acidity that sticks out comparatively, and I think it is quite exceptional among Shinsei wines.
Overall, it is still quite fresh.
The taste is the same melon type, but the acidity is a little too strong compared to the sweetness, and there is a sweet and sour or even a little sour nuance.
Well, this is refreshing and just right for summer!
Delicious!
Compared to the regular version, it has a more powerful acidity and body, which makes it more drinkable, but it may be a little more tiring to drink than the regular version.
If you like a gentler taste, it would be better to age it more.
I had the impression that the acidity was not so prominent in the Ecru, but this bottle overturned that impression.
