The acidity is rather mild and may not be what one would call fruity, but it is a melon juice type sake. I sometimes prefer this kind of sake with brewing alcohol instead of pure rice. It is well-balanced when well chilled, but when the temperature rises, it seems a bit sweet. I had it with pressed sushi in the Romancecar, but it was not a good match, and the Iburi gakko cheese that followed was better.
