It's been a while since I've had any sake 🍶, so today I'm finishing off October with one of my favorite brands... Amami from Choshu Shuzo in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi ✨! This is the second time I've tried Amami since it became my favorite 🤩 after drinking it at a tasting 😍. So let's open the bottle 🍸! The aroma is neither strong nor weak with a hint of pear 🍐...just right 😆. Pouring it into the glass... you can visually see the shwash🫧 of the raw sake 😳 I can't resist the desire to drink it when I'm writing the report... so I drink it quickly 🤣 lol. The taste of the shwash on the palate is more lighthearted than microcarbonated juice 👍. I think the sweetness, umami and some bitterness........................................leaves a little aftertaste? 🤔 But it is not peculiar and is easy to drink 😘. After all...Yamaguchi Prefecture's sake is deep😅. In Iwakuni alone, there are Otters, Ganki, Gobashi, Kinjaku....and others like Wakamusume, Yachiyo Shuzo, Amami here, and even Toyo Bijin....the list goes on and on 😱. Our hometown, Hiroshima, is not to be outdone 🤣 lol! Well, well...tomorrow is November...it's early 😓!
