Today I had Kurobekyo, which my brother gave me as a souvenir from Toyama.
The aroma is weak. It has the image of traditional sake made a little easier to drink. When you drink it, you feel sweetness for a moment, but soon you feel alcohol and bitterness. However, the feeling is weak, so it is easy to drink.
As for the snack, I first had some fish paste, and then I paired it with some pickled Chinese cabbage flavored with soy sauce that I made myself.
Personally, I felt that the pickles neutralized the alcohol and gave the sake a sweeter aftertaste than drinking the sake by itself.
I felt that this is an interesting sake that becomes even easier to drink depending on how it is paired.
