A little classic Junmai Ginjo-shu
My wife, who is a Western-style sake drinker, bought this for me as a souvenir because she enjoyed a tasting of this sake at a department store.
I took a sip. It is dry and has a bit of classic bitterness.
It is a junmai ginjo with a solid sake taste.
It is a surprising sake, as it was selected by my wife, who is a Western-style sake drinker, and the description of "gorgeous aroma and bottled in the bottle" is not what I expected.
Gorgeous aroma? Not so much, I thought at first,
The classic aroma is mixed with a hint of ginjo.
There is no trendy acidity element.
The sweetness is dry with a good balance of umami and bitterness.
It is best served cold or lukewarm.
Good as a food sake.
A four-pack was about 1,600 yen.
