I had the opportunity to try a variety of sake purchased by Icoma Sake Shop during their visit to the brewery😊.
Sake from Hashimoto Sake Brewery in Iga City.
The brewery is relatively close to the station, a 15 minute walk from the station.
Well, there is only one train every hour😅.
I couldn't buy this sake when I was in Mie the other day 🙄.
This brewery seems to prefer using 1501 yeast (Akita-style flower yeast).
The rice is Yamadanishiki and Gohyakumangoku.
It doesn't have much of a ginjo-shu feel to it, and I wonder if it's aged a bit.
It seems to show its strength when heated up. It is definitely easier to drink than the Anno Honor we had the other day.
