I haven't had a drink in a long time. I guess it's been about a year. I was curious about this flashy pink label and was able to purchase it before it ran out.
The stable sweetness and the sharpness that comes in the second half are still there. I think this sake is all about the sharpness at the end. It has a strong taste, but I think the bitterness and pungency in the last half is the key.
It is a sake that can be enjoyed on its own, but today I paired it with sweet-and-sour pork. I think there are different tastes, but it is quite good. The sweet and sour taste of the sweet-and-sour pork mixed with the sharpness of the sake at the end makes for a very good pairing, in my opinion.
