We drank various kinds of sake in Niigata.
I really like the sake of Shimehari Tsuru and Kintsuru. I am going to be addicted to Niigata's light and dry sake.
On the last day, we visited Imadaiji Sake Brewery, and this is the girl I brought home.
The first sip is a little tangy and dry on the back palate, but good for a mid-meal drink. It's good as a food sake, and quite good with 86% cocoa chocolate. It was delicious warmed up to lukewarm. We were soon treated to a delicious meal at the restaurant.
