Yuki Shuzo's brand Tomikufuku is now more famous for its Yuyui brand of sake.
It's said to be made with Yamadanishiki and 7-group yeast, and aged on ice.
There were two kinds of sake, mellow and full-bodied, but I chose the mellow one.
It's glamorous!
The aroma is heavy and reminds me of some of the rich and mellow umikuchi sake I've had in the past.
The taste is sweet and sour at first, and then thick and smooth.
Even so, the taste is refreshing, and the sourness is stronger than the aroma.
It goes well with the fish paste we had for tonight.
The languid woman on the label is not the model of Michiko, the toji.
As I drink it on a moonlit night, looking at the label, I get more and more suspicious.
