Good bye Akita!
Unable to catch the Shinkansen, we took a local train from Tazawako to Morioka. Two-car train rattling along. It's nice and peaceful.
We were served a bottle of "Mansaku no Hana Touji Selection" in Morioka. It was full of a sense of luxury. I don't remember receiving both Hoshiakari and Hinomaru so often.
Morioka in summer is famous for its cold noodles! We were lucky enough to get into Pyonpyonsha without waiting in line. The acidity, tanginess, and firmness of the noodles were perfect.
