When I visited Azumakura, a buckwheat noodle restaurant owned by Kitanishi Shuzo, which manufactures Sairai, I brought back a bottle of sake called Pearl to drink with my food as a souvenir 🛍.
It has a fruity flavor, with a good balance of sweetness, acidity, and bitterness, like a slightly sweet white wine 🥂.
The aftertaste is crisp and has a nice sharpness that is typical of sake.
It was delicious!
