Kitaakita大吟醸

MNBX
I was looking for a cheap, dry sake that was always available and tasty, so I bought this at my local supermarket. It's very reasonably priced at around 1,000 yen for a four-pack, available at convenience stores, and when it's a daiginjo, you've got to try it at least once! The aroma is light, but certainly has a ginjo flavor. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the sweetness from the ginjo aroma, but soon the sourness and a slight bitterness spread and it becomes dry. It also has umami. The aftertaste is clean and crisp, which is a good thing for a brewery. If you drink it a couple of days after opening the bottle, it becomes gentle and has a calm impression. Considering the price and the fact that it's so easy to buy, it's probably a good enough sake!
