c.georgeMy first lucky draw this year. I am not a lucky person in raffles, but sometimes I win. When I went to the liquor store where I always go, I found a line of sake bottles and cups for the raffle prizes. I bought a bottle of the sake I wanted and immediately drew the lottery. Inside the box was a huge amount of lots. I didn't think I would win if I saw this. I rummaged around in the back of the box, picked up one, and opened it up, It said "8th prize" (*'oo'*). The prize was this, a bottle of Shoyuki ‼️ I had never seen this sake before, but it seems to be produced by Mr. Junetsu Yamakage, a famous toji (master brewer) in the Nanbu region of Shizuoka. It is said that it tastes better lukewarm than chilled, but for now, I served it crisp and chilled. I felt that the taste matched with various dishes.
