hideki.KAWAKAMIIf you don't have any sake for the holidays, you need it 🥺, so yesterday I cycled to the Hontaya Sake Shop in Higashimurayama during a bit of sunshine.
I thought I hadn't posted about the sake in Tokyo yet!
Today, we're going to start with a freshly brewed sake from the fridge and slowly bring it down to room temperature.
It has a clear, slightly beige-ish appearance.
The aroma is of fresh pineapple, pear and topping.
The first taste is sweet and full of flavor. The finish leaves a bittersweet aftertaste.
