Very complex nose of fruit and nuts. There's peach, apricot, red grapes, clear scents of almonds, and a deep umami like shiitake mushrooms.
Very nutty and quite sweet. First it's more fresh almonds, almond milk, followed by a thick sweetness of stone fruits and prunes. Mouthcoating, leaving a layer on the lips. Body and umami is full, acid is medium.
Finish is medium, with thick feel on the palate.
A very heavy, gutsy sake with lots of attitude.
