Not great cold to be honest, outstanding warmed up! It's got a smoky, woodsy character to it, but it also has a mild sweetness that makes it an excellent accompaniment to food this time of year. It's not at all pungent even when warmed, and there's nothing unpleasant about it at all. Easier to drink than water.
