This junmai ginjo is made from 100% "Sawa-no-hana" (Japanese rice), which was produced in collaboration with the citizens of Nagai, Yamagata Prefecture, who had evacuated to the city. It is released on March 11 every year under the theme "The circle of compassion and spirit knows no bounds. A portion of the proceeds are donated to organizations, schools, and boards of education that are supporting children and students who have been evacuated due to the nuclear power plant accident.
