Yeast used : Wine yeast from the Rhone region, France
Alcohol content : 16 degrees
This sake is brewed with yeast from the valleys of the Rhone region.
The label is stylish, so I bought it by the jacket.
The aroma is subdued and slightly sweet with a hint of citrus.
The taste has an acidity and fruitiness reminiscent of white wine, and a freshness that fills the mouth.
In the latter half, you can feel a little nutty, brown sugar-like aroma.
It is a sake that shows the potential of sake. It makes me want to try many different kinds of "Manjusen"!
We enjoyed it with grilled chicken thighs with yuzu kosho.
Thank you very much for the food!
